Strategy

The initial phase of our work helps clients identify ways that video can contribute to project goals. This involves understanding what information is qualitative, contextual, or experiential, and how to create value from that information.

In a collaborative process we then co-design a strategy that outlines stakeholders, video products, target audiences, processes for content creation, and methods for distribution.

Participatory Methods

Quimera has developed a range of participatory methods for the creation of video footage. We put the camera into the hands of stakeholders, enabling groups or individuals to discover and tell their own stories. The video footage captured from these exercises is used to create video products that support strategic business objectives.

Training and Support

Quimera has the capacity to act as remote producer for groups in the field that will be capturing video but need various forms of technical and content-related guidance. If video production and editing will be an ongoing activity within a project we have the ability to provide training such that the new ways to think about knowledge, information and media, and the technical skills associated with this work become a part of the organization and are supported long after our initial engagement.
